‘Taj Foods – the rice people’ inspiring new rice stories as they enter Australia’s Food Sport Arena
Every grain has a story. That statement will be put to the test this year at Australia’s Food Sport event, World Food Championships Australia, thanks to our sponsors Taj Foods and their Rice brands – SunGrow and TAJ.
Taj is an Australian family-owned and run, company established in the 1970’s and now proud sponsor of the World Food Championships Australia. A leader in Basmati rice with their TAJ and White Tiger brands, Taj Foods has grown to also offer frozen vegetables, frozen herbs, snacks, and organic foods among other grocery products. Although its forte has been Basmati Rice, through it’s SunGrow brand, Taj Foods’ now also offer Jasmine Rice, Medium Grain Rice, Sushi Rice, Brown Rice and exotic ancient rice varities such as Black Rice and Red Rice. TAJ Basmati Rice and SunGrow Rice varieties will give competitors an array of choices to create exciting world recipes and a championship winning dish. WFCA’s competitors who advance to the finals will be challenged to create a winning dish, for a chance to win the Golden Ticket Entry straight into the 2022 qualifying event in Dallas TX.
